A finished wall only tells you part of the story

Central Florida homes are mostly concrete block with a stucco coating. Five layers do the work; only the thinnest one is visible. Drag to cut through a wall.

Filling a crack treats the top few millimetres of a five-layer wall — which is why we start by finding out what opened it.

A stucco repair contractor based in Lake County

We are based in Minneola, so most jobs across Lake County and the western edge of Orange County are a short drive away rather than a trip across the metro. That is a scheduling fact more than a marketing one, and it is why we can come and look at a wall without turning the visit into a half-day.

That local footing matters for stucco because the right repair depends on how a wall was built and how it fails in this climate. Central Florida homes are mostly concrete block with a stucco coating, and that assembly cracks and lets water in for reasons that differ from wood-framed or synthetic systems. We repair for the walls that are actually here. Learn more on our main stucco repair page.

Our stucco services

We focus on stucco and the work that protects it, rather than spreading into unrelated trades.

  • Stucco crack repair

    - sealing hairline and wider cracks and rebuilding the texture so the patch blends rather than shows. See stucco crack repair.
  • Stucco water damage repair

    - fixing moisture intrusion, soft spots, and staining behind the stucco, then rebuilding the moisture barrier. See stucco water damage repair.
  • Exterior stucco restoration

    - patching holes, delamination, and bubbling, and bringing a tired wall back to a sound, uniform finish.
  • Exterior painting

    - a finishing step we offer alongside repair, not a separate business we push.

Why homeowners choose Anicette Stucco

Reviews and ratings help because stucco repair is hard to judge from the outside until it fails. A wall that was patched with the wrong material or a mismatched texture can look fine for a season and then crack or stain again, so a track record is worth more than a low bid.

  • More than 15 years of local experience. We have repaired stucco across Lake County long enough to know how these walls age and what makes a patch last.
  • Insured. We carry insurance for the work we do.
  • A 4.8-star rating from 48 Google reviews.
  • Real before-and-after photos. We photograph our work, including the middle of a job, so you can see the method rather than take our word for it.
  • A free, no-obligation estimate. We do not charge to come out, look at your wall and give you a price. (A formal stucco inspection - moisture probes, thermal imaging, written report - is a different specialist service that typically costs several hundred dollars or more.)

How we repair stucco

Step 01 of 05

We find out why.

Not what the crack looks like - what opened it. That single answer decides everything that follows, including whether you need us at all.

Where this sits in the wall

  1. Concrete block
  2. Weather barrier
  3. Metal lath
  4. Base coat
  5. Finish + texture

The cause is usually behind the finish, in the block or the barrier - not in the crack you can see.

Understanding the cost before you commit helps too. Our stucco repair cost page explains typical Central Florida price ranges and what moves them.

Signs your stucco needs attention

Most stucco problems announce themselves long before they become expensive. The trick is knowing which signs are cosmetic and which mean water is already inside the wall.

  • Cracks that are widening, running diagonally from window and door corners, or reopening after being patched.
  • Staining on the wall, particularly beneath windows or at corners, which usually means water is running down inside the wall rather than off it.
  • Soft or hollow-sounding areas. Sound stucco is hard. If an area gives when you press it, that usually means moisture has gotten behind the finish, and it is worth having looked at.
  • Bubbling or peeling paint, which on stucco is normally moisture pushing the coating off rather than a paint failure.
  • A visible previous patch that never matched, which is often where the wall fails again.

A dry, stable hairline crack can usually be sealed cheaply whenever it suits you. Any of the other four signs is worth acting on rather than watching.

Before any work starts

What to expect from an estimate

  1. We come out, look at the wall, and tell you what is actually happening.
  2. That means finding the cause, not just measuring the crack, because sealing a crack that something is still opening only buys you a season.
  3. You get a clear scope and a price before any work starts, and if the honest answer is that your wall can wait, we will tell you that too.

The step most repairs skip

Why texture matching is the whole job

Anyone can fill a crack. The reason most patched stucco is obvious from the street is that filling is where the work stopped.

Filled and painted — the patch reads flatFinish rebuilt — the patch disappears

Drag across the wall to compare a flat fill with a rebuilt finish

Stucco has a surface pattern, applied by hand or tool, and a repair that is structurally perfect but smoother than the wall around it reads instantly as damage that somebody covered up.

We rebuild the finish over every repair and work it until the light falls across it the same way as the surrounding wall.

  • KnockdownTroweled flat while still wet, so the high spots stay soft-edged
  • DashThrown on and left alone — the grain size has to match or the patch shows
  • Sand or smoothThe least forgiving finish: every ridge and float mark is visible in raking light

If you can find our repair from the driveway, we have not finished it.
