What to watch for on a Clermont home
After heavy rain, walk the low side of your house and look at where the water actually went. Standing water against a wall, a downspout emptying at the foundation, or a channel worn into the grade are all warnings, and they matter more than the crack itself. Above that, check the windward elevation for cracks with staining, soft spots or bubbling paint.
Those three signs usually point to water already in the wall.

It is a question for a structural engineer, and it has to be answered before any stucco goes on, because material pushed into a crack that is still moving is money you will spend a second time. We will say so if we see it, even though it means walking away from the job.
